Crete a piece of art as you learn to work short rows in garter stitch.  This shawl is beautiful, flowing and looks much more complicated that it is.  Learn something new and plan on stopping traffic when you wear it!

Complete your lingering projects with expert help!  Elanor can guide you through every aspect of finishing including seaming, picking up stitches and grafting, and every king of problem-soling such as lost pattens, too-long sleeves and mending.  You will also benefit from observing other people working on their own unfinished projects.  This class is limited to 5 people per session.  It will run every Wednesday starting March 11, 2015 from 10 am to 12:30 pm.  You must preregister, but can add additional sessions as you go.

Level:  Total Novice

4 Classes:  Saturdays, March 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 9 - 11 am

Get started on something new...learn to crochet!  learn to chain, single crochet, double crochet and half-double crochet...a new stitch every week.  For each stitch you will create a square of crocheted fabric that can be used alone as dishcloths or be sewn together to create a scarf, cowl, baby blanket or whatever you choose.

Carrie is nationally recognized as a crochet designer, editor and teacher.  You will benefit from her credentials and generous teaching spirit!

Learn this cool style of knitting that uses knit stitches, purl stitches, decreases and short rows to make a gorgeous fabric that can be used for scarves, pillow covers,  blankets and more!  With entrelac, the sky is the limit!

Learn to knit lace.  Feather and Fan is a classic pattern that has captivated knitters for hundreds of years.  Learn to yarn over and decrease in pattern.  This is a great first lace project.

Learn to knit the tee shirt you'll wear all summer!  Dress it up with a skirt or pair it with shorts or jeans when you're feeling casual.  This sweet top-down raglan is knit in the round.  It's a perfect first sweater project.
