LEVEL:  Advanced Beginner

3 Classes, Mondays  6 - 8 pm     Sept 11, 25 and Oct 2

Knitting socks is so much fun!  Leslie is a master sock knitter and will teach you the ins and outs of knitting a perfect pair of socks every time using the tried and true Yankee Knitter sock pattern.  This class is taught on double pointed needles using worsted weight yarn so you are sure to finish your first pair during class.  Learn to knit a slip stitch gusseted heel, shape toes and finish with the kitchener stitch under Leslie's superb tutelage.  Be forewarned: sock knitting is addictive!

Required skills:   Casting on, binding off, knitting, purling, and following basic pattern instructions.

Cost:  $40.00 plus materials .  We require you to use materials purchased at Yarn for all classes.  Thank you for understanding and not asking us to make an exception for you. You will pay the instructor directly at the first class. Please bring cash or a personal check since most instructors are not equipped to accept credit cards.
