Everyone in your life needs a hand knit hat!  Hats are versatile, portable projects that, once mastered, mean you will never again have to "wait" in line, or at the doctor, or through your kids tee ball game.  Jayne will teach you the basics of knitting in the round, how to change colors by carrying your yarn up the inside of the hat, how to decrease the crown and the basic math skills needed to make any hat pattern fit your head.

Materials:  1 skein in each of two colors of worsted weight yarn, 16" size 7 circular needles and double pointed needles, stitch markers and tapestry needle.  The pattern will be provided by Yarn.

Required skills:  You should be able to cast on, knit and purl.

Fine Print: You will pay the instructor the full class fee on the first night of class.  We require you to use yarn purchased at our store for all classes.  Students receive a 10% discount on all class supplies, while the class is running.
